30 DAYS of TAI CHI

At 7 am in Garrison Park, Austin, Texas , beginning Wednesday, October 12, 2022, the Austin Veteran Arts Festival will commence LIVE broadcasts for 30 days of Tai Chi from Garrison Park. We hope you will attend. It is our dream that during this thirty days we can establish Garrison Park as a Tai Chi Park where people of all lines of work and cultures will come to assemble daily to do Tai Chi.

Tai Chi, a mind/body therapy that has been shown to be effective in alleviating several symptoms associated with anxiety, depression and PTSD. We hope that veterans and you will join us during this event. We plan to broadcast each day LIVE on the Veterans’ Arts And Wellness Network starting no later than 8 am every morning for 30 days.

MARCUS HOBBS, a United States veteran owns the KING’S HOBBY SHOP. He has planned out an extensive series of events for veterans who love model making, and is involved in putting together various exhibits. He will have a n exhit of models at KING’s HABBY SHOP on Monday, October 10 and on Sunday October te 23rd, feature a “MAKE & TAKE” event for veterans. On Sunday, November 11 and 12 there will be an exhibit at Camp Mabry in the Texas Military Museum.
